CAVA and NSAL are hosting this joint event especially to showcase artwork that sheds light on significant but sometimes overlooked or obscure events in the history of Illinois. This unique exhibition will feature paintings, prints, photography, drawings, fiber art, mixed media, sculpture, and ceramics. Each thoughtfully created artwork will tell a story, interpret an event, or reveal new insights about Illinois' history from a twenty-first century perspective.
